VMware Fusion: Powerfully Simple Virtual Machines for Mac. VMware Fusion Pro and VMware Fusion Player Desktop Hypervisors give Mac users the power to run Windows on Mac along with hundreds of other operating systems, containers or Kubernetes clusters, side by side with Mac applications, without rebooting. Fusion products are simple enough for home users and powerful enough for IT. The Boot Camp Assistant application gives you clear guidance throughout the installation process. Since Boot Camp operates on Windows entirely isolated from Mac OS X rather than at the same time as with Virtualization, Boot Camp causes less strain on your Mac’s processing power and memory- easier on your Mac OS X to maintain it up and running.

For Mac OS X Tiger, Boot Camp was available as a beta. However, that beta expired on December 31st, 2007, and now Boot Camp isn't available for Mac OS X Tiger. Boot Camp software from Apple shook up the computing public upon its apocalyptic arrival in April 2006. Boot Camp graduated from beta, or near-finished, status with the arrival of Leopard. Boot Camp Assistant software is stored in the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder. Boot Camp itself is free.
